Howdy!

Hi, we’re Allie and Jacob — a couple with paint on our hands, tools in our pockets, and a shared love for turning the past into something beautiful for the future.

We met in college, bonded over our mutual love for hard work and home-cooked meals, and have been building a life (and a home) together ever since. As the oldest siblings in our families, we both come with a “get it done” mentality — whether we’re renovating our 1970s fixer-upper, running marathons side by side, or diving into our next DIY challenge.

Our passion lies in helping others see the beauty in old homes. Through our own renovation journey — complete with peeling wallpaper, hidden gems, and unexpected surprises — we’ve learned that there’s something deeply rewarding about preserving the character of a space while making it your own.

We believe in getting our hands dirty, learning as we go, and doing things with heart. Whether it’s stripping down layers of history or adding new ones with care, we’re here to share what we’ve learned, inspire your next project, and remind you that there’s a special kind of magic in restoring what’s already there.
